Born in Cumbria, England, Lynn Dennison now lives and works in London. Working across several disciplines, including video, installation and collage, her work explores our relationship with our surroundings and how we see and experience our environment. Her single and multiple screen videos are often based in the documentary of place and the human interaction there. Lynn Dennisonstudied B.A. Fine Art at the Slade and completed an M.A. in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins. Her work has been commissioned and supported by grants and awards, and exhibited nationally and internationally. She has participated in workshops, talks and events. Recent exhibitions include Human Tracesat Flowers Gallery, New York, Clepsydraat Birmingham University, Waterfalland Border Countryat De La Warr Pavillion, and Imagine, Palazzo Pesaro Papafava, VeniceBiennale 2019. She is the winner of the 2015 RBS Sculpture Shock Award and the 2018 Flickering Stone Award Australia. She has recently held residencies at the University of Birmingham and the Florence Trust, London.
