Alone in a room with six panes
of tall glass framing terracotta
rooftops, and a tower,
I skim the sky for signs and art
while trees do their thing –
no discernible drama –
while warm winds whip First
Water into storms they
say may be the end
of us one day.
I could probably do more
than think about food
and Google, is Jonah Hill married?
Still, I gotta thing going
on with this spider I
know, and maybe
that counts for
something.
