Poetry | Henry St Leger

timing personal admissions to coincide with catastrophic geographical events

for potus

the fire and fury when

you came out to your mother
as Hurricane Katrina swept New Orleans

returned Sajid’s bicycle            as a street of houses in Florida fell
into the ocean

posted about The 1975’s album release
their best yet, really                                   moments after the Dakota pipeline
burst

said once, to your
self, as you hit
that button,

that you never meant to hurt anyone
